The Tactical Battle

Morocco's defensive shape vs Canada's directness is the central contest.

Regragui will set Morocco up to be compact, to force Canada wide, and to hit on the counter when they win the ball. Ziyech as a wide forward, Ounahi or En-Nesyri as movement threats — Morocco's attacks often start with the ball being won back quickly and launched before the opponent's shape is set.
